Tonight is the last night to sign up for the color run. Thank you to all of our sponsors. And even if you're not running, come enjoy food from our food trucks and celebrate the runners.
The Okaloosa County School District has been made aware of scam phone calls targeting parents. In these calls, individuals falsely claim that a student has an outstanding lunch balance and instructs the parent to "press 1" to make a payment immediately.
Please be advised:
• The Okaloosa County School District does not contact families by phone to request payment in this manner.
• Any legitimate communication regarding student meal accounts would come through official district channels.
• In the recently reported case, the scammer provided incorrect student information and used what appeared to be a local phone number, which may have been spoofed.
If you receive a suspicious call, do not provide personal or payment information. Instead, hang up and contact your child's school or the district's Food Services Department directly for verification. Thank you for helping us keep our families informed and protected.

Attention students!! It's time for a Library Book Challenge – and there's a donut party on the line!
🎯 Goal: Be the first homeroom in your grade to have ZERO overdue or lost books!
🗓 Deadline: All books must be returned or accounted for by May 16th.
🥇 The winning homeroom in each grade will earn a donut party to celebrate their book-returning greatness!
📖 Check your backpacks, lockers, and under your bed — let’s get those books back where they belong!

🎉 Volunteer Opportunity: 2025 Ruckel Middle School Color Run! 🌈
We’re excited to invite you to volunteer at the 2025 Ruckel Middle School Color Run, happening on Tuesday, April 29!
There are a variety of volunteer roles available, each with different start and end times. Please note that end times may vary slightly depending on when racers arrive and finish.
🙌 High school students are welcome and can earn volunteer hours by participating!
What to Wear:
All volunteers should wear a white T-shirt or a Ruckel Spirit Shirt—get ready to get colorful!
