Meet in the cafeteria for Hot Chocolate and Cookies from 5-5:30, then story time from 5:30-7:00. We look forward to seeing all of you in your Pajamas ( students & adults) tomorrow night while you listen to our teachers (in character) read some of their favorite stories.

Attendance has a direct impact on student achievement so please be there and on time. The tardy bell rings at 7:50 am. We know that the extended breaks from school alters our students schedules so please plan accordingly. We are celebrating Literacy week "Contructing a foundation for success".

Although the recent weather has been unprecedented, safety is always a priority. We look forward to seeing our Eagles back Monday morning.

Today, we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy, we also celebrate his enduring vision of equality, peace, and community that inspires us all to a better world.
We also know the cold weather has altered many of our schedules.
Since we are not planning on ressuming school until Thursday 1/23, Open House is cancelled and will look for an alternate date.

Monday's MLK parade has been canceled due to weather. As always we will keep you posted through Facebook or callouts on updates for inclement weather for next week and how it may impact schooling.
As for now we look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday 1/22 for Open House. 5-5:30 Title parent meeting in the cafeteria and Pizza will be provided while supplies last.

Tomorrow's English Language Learners (E.L.L) parent night will focus specifically on those families that speak a primary language other than English in their household and ways to support your child in school. If this is something that would benefit you please plan on attending tomorrow from 5:30-6:30. We will have interpreters present to help you. Thank you

Plan ahead as we will be dismissing at 1:30 PM on 12/20 for the Winter Break

We also want to wish our Archery team well as they shoot in their first tournament of the year at Choctaw high school tonight and Saturday morning. We wish them well and shoot them straight- Go Eagles !

Our annual Santa 's Holiday Shop is right around the corner and we need your help .Be on the lookout for ways to volunteer on our Facebook coming soon.
The shop will be cash only and will take place next week from 12/9-12/13.

A line of storms is expected to move into our area overnight and continue through tomorrow evening. We anticipate heavy rainfall, which may lead to brief flash flood conditions and pooling on roadways.
At this time, we do not expect any changes to school start times or dismissal. However, we encourage everyone to exercise caution during your commute. If your child is late or misses school due to weather in your area, please provide a note when they return.
