STEAM Curriculum Night is coming! 
Join us for an exciting STEAM Night filled with hands-on learning, creativity, and family fun!
Special Guest: Meet local author McCaid Paul
PLUS! The Scholastic Book Fair will be OPEN during the event!
Students will explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math through interactive stations, including:
Coding robots through a maze
Engineering a truss bridge
Lighting up the night while learning about fireflies
Designing & launching rockets
Math fun to take home

Stick around for a Chili Cook-Off between grade levels!
Chili Cook-Off $ donations will be collected to support Children in Crisis, Inc.

FIELD DAY IS ALMOST HERE!
Bob Sikes Elementary is gearing up for an exciting week of Field Day fun filled with games, teamwork, and school spirit! 
Kahuna Ice and Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck will be on campus and available for purchase March 2nd–March 6th.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Coach Tatman is looking for volunteers to help make Field Day a success!

Here are some important details to remember:
- ID is required for entry - Enter through the Track Gate entrance; Gate opens at 7:40am and field day events are scheduled to begin at 8:00am and end approximately around 12:00pm.
- Students cannot check out until the completion of Field Day
- School-age siblings cannot be checked out to attend field day - Once field day is completed, siblings may be checked out through the Front Office
- Students may not wear cleats or gloves to compete.
- Concessions will be available for purchase March 2nd-6th
- Bring your own lawn chairs for seating.
Prepare your sneakers, bring your enthusiasm, and get ready for a day filled with fun and friendly competition! Let's make some unforgettable memories together. See you on the field!

Pre-Sales Dates: February 2 – February 27, 2026
Cost: $25 per book
Important: Quantities will be limited once yearbooks arrive, so be sure to secure your copy early!
